Dorset Apartments have Zenbu wireless hotspots at both the City and St Albans Apartments - bring your laptop and sign up online for a Zenbu.net.nz internet account (or buy an access voucher) then enjoy affordable and very easy WiFi access from the comfort of your apartment. Alternatively, if you have stayed at another Zenbu hotspot recently, you can use any vouchers you already have here. Zenbu WiFi use is charged by the amount of data used, rather than time, so you only pay for what you use. Purchase your access online using your credit card. It doesn't get much easier than this!
Cleanliness is one of the most important issues when staying in any type of accommodation and at Dorset Apartments, we are meticulous about cleaning. Cleaning is performed to the highest standards at all times with professional cleaning products used to achieve high standards of hygiene. Apartments are thoroughly cleaned before your stay, including changing bed linen. Linen is changed regularly for guests staying longer than three days. If you would like your apartment serviced during your stay, this can be arranged for a small additional charge of $20 per service clean.
If you are catching a late evening flight, you will have the option of storing your luggage at Dorset House Backpackers for the day. The Dorset House staff will be happy to watch over your gear while you sightsee, and you can collect it (before 6pm) before continuing on your way. This is a free service for all guests of Dorset Apartments and Dorset House. Alternatively guests at Dorset Apartments City may choose to store luggage in the Key Room.
As a guest at Dorset Apartments, you can also access the services of Dorset House Backpackers. This includes advice and a free booking service at the Travel Desk, use of the social guest lounge with free pool table, advertising or shopping on the travel and car sales noticeboards, and the assistance of Dorset House's friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Dorset Apartments takes proactive measures to ensure you and your belongings are safe. Your apartment door is fitted with a deadbolt, to which you will hold a key. You have access 24 hours, 7 days a week. In case of emergency, our staff (based at Dorset House) also hold a set of keys. Keys are accessed upon your arrival using a daily security code. You will be informed of this code when you reserve your apartment. Your key will be awaiting your arrival. Further instructions are provided upon reservation.
